Cow & Plough

The cow and plough based in rambling old farm buildings has an excellent reputation for its vast array of real ales excellent wines,
fine lunchtime sandwiches and superb a la carte restaurant making it ideal for family lunches and dinners.

We have been host to many family celebrations fro 1st birthday extravaganzas in the marquee to 90th birthday celebrations in our traditional farmhouse restaurant. we have hosted large corporate dinners to intimate family gatherings. We can offer fine private dining to beer and traditional pub games evenings.

Our permanent marquee can cater for weddings up to 150 guests specialising in christmas parties in december. Sunday lunch is a firm favorite at the cow and plough serving from 12 till 4pm during Winter (12-9pm during Summer) in the restaurant and conservatory with hot baguettes in the bar.

We have weekly jazz lunchtimes every wednesday from 12 till 2.30. Here at the cow and plough we hold regular beer and music festivals featuring local bands and up to 50 guest ales over a weekend with free camping in the summer. Our early bird offer is a must at only £13.95 for 2 courses monday to thursday 6-8pm. You are always assured our best attention for your requirements at this truly unique venue.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome at The Cow & Plough in the bar areas and in the garden, water bowls are available for thirsty pooches too, ideal after a long walk and a pint of one of cracking ales for you too!!

We love organising parties here at The Cow & Plough but we are sorry we are unable to cater for 18th birthday parties.
